Tax-Paying Citizens

The American Revolution was fought for many reasons and one reason is Taxation without representation. This injustice is still going on. 31.6\% of our nations people are not allowed to vote but are required to pay a sales tax! I am talking about Americas youth.

People under the age of 18 are required to give money to a nation which they have no legal rights and no representation. The constitution that we hold dear reads All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States. And one right of the citizens of this nation is the right to vote. The constitution also reads The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States

Discrimination due to age is still discrimination. Children are said to be irresponsible, and unable to make rational decisions. In 2000 of the 1,424,893 arrests adult arrests accounted for 82.9\%(1,181,803) compared to only 17.1\% accounted to juveniles. When the numbers are viewed, which group of people is more irresponsible?

Our very reasonable requests:
1. People under the age of 18 should not be required to pay sales tax or any other form of tax if they are going to be denied one of their constitutional rights.
2. Or Citizens under the age of 18 should be given rights equal to that of all other tax paying citizens
