We, the webloggers of intheav.com, respectfully request the management of High Desert Broadcasting, LLC which operates radio station KUTY 1470 AM in Palmdale, California and the Internet weblog site www.intheav.com, to terminate the weblogging privileges of the bloggers "Hobalong" and "138hwy."

We have observed, and wish to make note of the following facts:

1. High Desert Broadcasting has operated intheav.com for almost two years running.
2. In those two years, management has terminated weblogging privileges of other abusive, threatening, bullying behavior participant accounts.
3. The webloggers active at the times these terminations have occured have largely been supportive of the terminations.

We wish management, in the person of Ray Cuneff and/or other management officials, to terminate the weblogging privileges for the following reasons, to wit:

1. We believe the behavior of these two participants singularly and together strongly constitute bullying.
2. New account usernames immediately come under attack.
3. A particularly unhealthy obsession with one Chuck Slay exists.
4. The blogging community's comments overwhelmingly get misunderstood and/or misinterpreted - a mark of a bully.
5. Reading comprehension is often poor.
6. Understanding another's point of view is often poor.
7. Use of logical arguments to advance a position is sketchy or nonexistent at best, leading to repetitive namecalling and mudslinging.
8. Envy, jealousy, anger and frustration is very evident in postings.
9. An authoritarian, controlling mindset exists - a mark of a bully.
10. Overhogging and overblogging of the site occurs on a daily basis.
11. Bringing up spelling errors when their own spelling is severely lacking in accuracy and professionalism is cause for moaning and groaning.
12. Having to be the "top dog" and enforcing others' "bottom dog" status is heartwrenching to watch.
13. Continually being rude and unkind is simply beyond the pale of human decency.
14. Stealing the fun and the joy out of the site as though they were performing some kind of noble public service is inappropriate behavior. Acting continually as perpetual killjoys is the net effect of their misdeeds.
15. Another cumulative net effect is the chilling of conversation and friendly debate. Without these social ingredients, community building and friendships don't take place as readily. . . which is what our beloved Antelope Valley sorely needs.
16. In sum, these two individuals are persistent, habitual, vindicative bullies.

We, the undersigned, therefore request the immediate cessation of weblogging privileges of the bloggers "Hobalong" and "138hwy." We observe the many unused dormant accounts at the intheav.com site, and strongly believe that this action, once taken with vigor and conviction, will reinvigorate the site, the weblogging community therein, KUTY and High Desert Broadcasting, and indeed the entire Antelope Valley.
