The Gateway Project

As a a registered voter in the Stated of Illinois and the City of Chicago being a naturalized citizen of The United States of America,support and agree that the street known as Chicago Ave. from Cicero Ave. through Austin Ave. be developed into "The Gateway" which will represent the African American community and it's heritage. I also request that the city Department of Planning and these Aldermen, 37th Ward Alderman Emma Mitts, 28th Ward Alderman Edward H. Smith and 29th Ward Aldeman Issac Caruthers allow the old 15th Dist. police station to be developed into The Edward Bailey and Leola Spann Community Center/ African Amaeican Historical Wax Museum. located at Chicago Ave and Lotus St.
