The City of Louisville is the 16th largest in the country. Our economic landscape is ever growing and changing. In order for Louisville to compete for young professionals, retirees, college students and relocating families, we must be prepared to offer more entertainment than the city currently offers. Along with the revitalization of the Downtown area, with hotels and restaurants, Fourth street live and the "hopeful" new basketball arena, this is the time to act. Louisville needs a professional sports team to increase national coverage of the city, bringing new jobs, restaurants, retail, hotels and overall city unification and pride. The NFL is the ideal candidate for a professional sport in Louisville. It has massive following throughout the city of Louisville and the state of Kentucky, as well as the entire country. There are close by NFL teams that would create exciting regional rivalries in Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Nashville. Based on information from the US Bureau of Economic Statistics the City of Louisville can support an NFL franchise. Please help support a beginning effort to bring the NFL to Louisville and help make our city a n attractive offer to all it's current and future citizens.
