In the event that the M3 Motorway is built next to the Hill of Tara, the ancient seat of Ireland's High Kings, County Meath should no longer be referred to as The Royal County, instead of that, The Motorway County should be used.
I also call on Meath County Council to remove the symbol of the Crown from their crest and for the Meath GAA County Board to remove the symbol of the High King from its crest as well, if the M3 Motorway is built through the Tara-Skryne (Gowra) Valley, as is currently planned.

I am sad to see the necessity has come for such a petition to be submitted to Meath council. It's not too late, please do all you can to divert this motorway from one of the cornerstones of our heritage.
