I applaud all those who have taken the time to sign petitions urging Japans Government to cease its countrys slaughter of both whales and dolphins and I truly hope these petitions have a positive effect. It is quite clear though through their actions that the decision makers in Japan do not care about public opinion or international law. This is why I am asking all the undersigned to make a commitment NOT TO PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS MADE IN JAPAN until that country changes its actions. Not words or promises but a total cease and desist of the murder of all cetaceous beings. It is my personal belief, also shared by countless others, that dolphins are planet earths other intelligent sentient race. Anyone who has ever swam with dolphins will tell you what a horrific thing it is the Japanese fisheries are doing. At the very least it must be recognized that this is unsustainable and will lead to extinction. This is equal to insane behavior. Now use your decision making power to make a difference.
