Tigerweb Should be Available 24/7

As college students, we do not run on a 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM schedule. In fact, most of us are far from it. There is no reason for tigerweb to only be available during those hours (give or take on weekends). We have repeatedly tried to access Tigerweb at reasonable hours (noon on Sunday, 8:00 PM on Thursday, etc.) and have gotten only the cold rejection found at http://www.enrollment.memphis.edu/registrar/webhours.htm. This sort of thing may have been acceptable several years ago, but there is no reason why tigerweb shouldn't be available at least close to 24/7.
We understand that some regular maintenance is required, and that there will be downtime as this takes place. But we also understand that it would take a lot of poor workmanship to make a system bad enough to need as much downtime as it does uptime.
We believe our school is capable of something better. We believe that tigerweb can and should have at least 90\% uptime, with the downtime scheduled at more reasonable times (no one is going to be too upset if it's offline from 4-5 AM).
This organization is one of the largest in the city, and we deserve to have information services commensurate with that designation. No other institution, public or private, would stand for such a poorly designed system.

Anybody who both goes to school and works has almost no chance of getting on and getting everything they need to done before 8:00. It's ridiculous.

Tigerweb needs to be made available because for me, I do not have time to access it during the day between classes, work, and various other things I need to be doing. Please make it available earlier and later in the day.
