U.S. postage stamp depicting the honey bee

We, the undersigned, petition the "Citizen's Stamp Advisory Committee" to choose to institute a new U.S. postage stamp depicting the honey bee. This committee, made up of 15 individuals of diverse backrounds, meet four times a year to review applications for ideas submitted by the public. Apis Mellifera, the honey bee, are productive and industrious and misunderstood by society. We think the beauty and intricacy of these insects lives should be imortalized in a U.S. postage stamp. We will be adding links to our website and other information for your research and interest.
