University of California Redevelopment Efforts in Haiti

We the students of the University of California at San Diego wish to express our support for Haiti by asking the UC system to engage in the long-term redevelopment efforts as recommended by the committee of students and faculty at the 2010 UC Haiti Summit in San Francisco. We strongly believe that students, faculty, and the general public will benefit by the UC investment of personnel, materials, and intellectual resources in Haiti. As a world-leader in education, we want our university to lead the redevelopment efforts in what is likely the largest natural disaster in modern history.
