Vertical Tutoring should NOT go ahead at Harlington Upper School

This petition was calibrated for the students and parents of students at Harlington Upper School.
The head teacher, Mr. fell, is planning to introduce a system called Vertical Tutoring. This is where four students from each year are put into one form. The system is being introduced to make a family atmosphere throughout the school.
As students attending this school, we feel it is totally unnecessary as we have a perfectly good tutoring system already. A number of year nines have said that this will result in them feeling intimidated by older peers and will make life more difficult on friendship groups as most of their friends were made through their forms. We also feel it is totally inappropriate for 13yr olds spending form time with adult students as bad habits may be picked up as sixth form life is extremely different from mainstream school.
Information that we have gathered from students of all years shows a clear indication that they strongly disagree with what Mr. fell and his team are doing.
So, as students we have decided to make sure all student and parents opinions are heard.
We would appreciate your help and support as vertical tutoring will upset a lot of students and unsettle what we are used to. So by signing this petition you agree that this new system should not be introduced and support students views and freedom of speech.
