We, the undersigned, wish to send you a message: We will not support the continued release of films on DVD that are not released in their original theatrical aspect ratios (including but not limited to your upcoming releases of Stuart Little, Mo' Money, To Gillian on her 37th Birthday and 84 Charing Cross Road). We resolve never to use our dollars to purchase DVDs from Columbia/Tristar Home Video, or any other studio, that do not provide an accurate representation of the film as its original artists intended it to be seen.
We strongly feel that, rather than reducing the quality of your output to satisfy those that are not aware of how films should properly be presented, you should be using your considerable influence to educate them on this matter, perhaps in the form of a brief explanation presented on the DVDs themselves. Barring this, if you absolutely must release DVDs with films in a modified format, such films should ALSO be made available in their original, intended formats.

I very much support the fact that movies should be released in their original format. In fact, I will not purchase a movie/video unless it is in its original format. I urge you to release more movies in their original format.
