"Whatever Happens" at Latitude

Dear Thom,
a couple of years ago you added a picture to the scrapbook of radiohead.com which showed the lyrics and chords to a song called "Whatever Happens". This has, as you probably knew, created some curiosity among fans. A little while ago there was even a fan project on ateaseweb.com, where people were trying to envision the song and recorded their own take on it, making decisions on melody, tempo, rhythm and arrangement. If you're interested in the outcome of the little experiment, you can safely download the collection here:

We are convinced that this song has great potential, and would love to hear your original version. Even if it never appears on an official release, we believe it deserves at least one live outing, and a great opportunity for that arises with your solo appearance at the Latitude Festival on july 19th. In the spirit of the fan request from 2000 for you to play "Follow Me Around" in Toronto, we ask you to consider playing "Whatever Happens" as part of your Latitude set.
