Granted the website is a caustic and discriminatory dig towards unattractive people but as all good humor is discriminatory towards something, we would be left with a sanitized, homogenized and ugly world if we were to set a precedent by banning this style of humor.
If you have ever laughed at Seinfeld, Rock, Murphy, Sandler, Chappelle, Izzard, Burns, Marx, Pryor (especially Pryor), Wright, Allen or any I have missed then you have certainly taken pleasure in someone elses misfortune. The Germans call this schadenfreude - the rest of us call it comedy.
Sign this petition and send a message to the 13th century morality crusaders to stick to disputing the validity of natural selection or the age of the earth and leave the attack on comedy out of their sermon.
