A Call to the End of Pop Princesses and a Redistribution of their Funds

We, the undersigned, hereby protest the corruption that has infested the music business, especially when it comes to female pop "singers."

There was a time when music was real. Musicians could sing and play instruments, not just mouth words and look pretty. They wrote their own lyrics and they meant something to them. Concerts were live and didnt use choreographers

Im not saying good music doesnt exist anymore, but it is often overshadowed by talent-less pop princesses such as Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Ashlee Simpson, etc., etc.

One of the popular questions in their defense, If theyre so awful, why are they successful? has a simple, yet disgusting answer. They prey on young, preteen girls who like nothing more than the fact that they are female and the songs are easy to sing along to. Whats disgusting is that they know how young their audience is and yet theyre out there half-naked, singing songs about their sexual fantasies. Ive known far too many young girls who idolized these greedy entertainers. They are not role-models.

So what do we want them to do? Give back the money they stole from the world through the charity(ies) of their choice. Well settle for letting them keep five percent each for being good sports. We know this is an unrealistic want because theyve gotten where they are by being completely self-obsessed, but we want to put it out there. Were not going to take this sitting down.

Face it, none of these girls deserve a cent of the money theyve earned. Did the people in Indonesia deserve to have their whole lives swept away? Do the people in Africa deserve to be dying of hunger and AIDS? No. That is where this money belongs, with people who need it. Innocent children are dying everyday and these talent-less girls are hoarding their money. Its hardly fair. Sorry for the rant, please sign.
