2. TELUGU is an ancient Indian language but it has not been recognized and given its ancient status yet.
3. To get an ancient language status in India the prerequisite is the language should be 1500 years old.
4. TELUGU language is more than 2000 years old. It is also called the Italian of the East. It is also the highest spoken language after Hindi in India.
5. A separate state has been formed 50 years ago based on Telugu speaking population.But still the Telugus could not push forward the centre effectively for the special recognition and status as ancient language.
6. This isssue belongs to all our Telugu culture and language. Let us fight unitedly on this issue and the time is right for all of us to voice our support.
7.TANA is in the forefront and spreading awareness among all Telugus worldwide.
8. Let us participate and tell the Government of India the importance of it and let us get the due status to the language.
