Adobe Audition for the Mac

Adobe Audition is a killer app. No question. Ive been personally using since its Cool Edit Pro days and it rocks, but worse theres nothing like it for the Mac. Nothing. Bias having given it a fair crack of the whip with Peak and Deck but these are two separate programs and Deck is very clumsy with its user interface. The only reason I have a PC in the studio is to run Audition. Period. Everything else is done on the Mac.

Why Adobe cant smell the coffee and port Audition over to the Mac I really dont know. They would TOTALLY clean up the audio market. Ok, I guess that they arent too happy with Apple releasing Final Cut and wiping Premiere off the map but audio editing on the Mac sucks and I for one see a huge gap in the market for Adobe to capitalise on.

So please, add you support for this petition to try to persuade Adobe to port Audition across to the Mac.
