City gains, we (those annexed) lose!! There isn't enough benefits for the higher taxes. Not to mention the worry if the city will actually keep their word to benefit all that are involved.

If I had wanted a house in Kokomo city limits, I would have bought a house in Kokomo city limits. The county has been doing an excellent job of snow removal and police patrol in my area. I see no benefit to my neighborhood from annexation.

We purchased a home outside the city limits and are absolutely against annexation! This is simply an effort by the city to generate additional tax revenue against the wishes of the majority of county residents.
