i would like to try and create legislation to make it mandatory for teachers in Ontario to have suicide intervention training. all teachers , the youngest person at risk for suicide was 4 years old! sign to keep our children safe from suicide. have teachers be trained to recognize the signs and trained to act effectively. staff in prisons have more training then our teachers.. for more info on training programs ASIST is recognized in Canada and around the world visit www.livingworks.net
