I believe we, the citizens of Cape Girardeau, Missouri deserve more than we are given. We are in dire need of better transportation. The shuttle bus service works alright for in town travel needs, but what about out town travel? The closest Amtrak station is in Carbondale, Illinois. That is 40 miles from Cape Girardeau. If you believe that we deserve more sign this petition to get an Amtrak stop put in Cape Girardeau. Cape Girardeau is ever growing and we need to keep up with the pace.
