As an American, I wish to extend my apologies to some of the recent actions that President Bush has taken against Iraq. I do not wish to apologize for declaring the War on Terrorism, for I feel that the stopping of terrorists and terrorist organizations will be beneficial of not only the United States, but to the entire world. What I do wish to apologize for is, the invasion and occupation of Iraq by U.S. lead forces. I want to apologize for all of the Iraqi citizens killed during this unjust and unwarranted war that President Bush has waged. I want to apologize for the large errors in judgment and planning that have turned your country into a war zone. Saddam Hussein was a "bad man", but the United States did to unseat him from power is not right.
I do apologize for the actions of President Bush, even though like many other Americans, I protested going to war against Iraq. I also apologize even though, like majority of Americans, I did not vote for George Bush to be the President of The United States. I apologize because I am a United States citizen and it was my country and government that did invade Iraq. I am sorry.
-An apologetic American
