Dear Secretary General,
The recent Israeli offensive in Lebanon has left more than 1,200 innocent people killed; around 4,000 injured and had displaced more than one million people. 250 bridges were destroyed; all seaports and many buildings were brought down completely in Beirut, as well as Beirut international Airport and various villages in South Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley. In fact some of the devastation is beyond imagination and will be felt for a long time to come.
The 50-page report, "Fatal Strikes: Israel's Indiscriminate Attacks Against Civilians in Lebanon," released by Human Rights Watch detailed many cases of Israeli attacks in which hundreds of innocent people were killed in homes or motor vehicles.
We look to you, as the highest representative authority in the United Nation to sport our Call to :
-Establish an International Commission of Inquiry to investigate Israels war crimes in Lebanon, including use of cluster ammunitions by Israeli forces, which have a terrible record of causing Lebanese civilian casualties.
