As you know, fighting corruption has emerged as a key development issue in India in recent years. More and more common people have started confronting the corruption openly. The recent Aandolan by Shree Anna Hazare and the support he received from common people have shown us that people of this country are aggravated and outraged against the corruption. Gujarat in that matter not divergent state in corruption. There are 6646 complains of corruption in Gujarat in just last one year. The government has no action against any IAS or IPS officers in the state.
To create a true vibrant and corruption free state, we the people of Gujarat demand,
1) Appointment of Lokayukta in Gujarat state
2) Appoint a committee under the Lokayukta to take strongest steps against all responsible officers.
3) The committee also be given free hand to inquire and take actions against any minister involved in scams/corruption cases.
4) This committee must clear out these cases maximum in one year.
We are aware that you had extended your support to Anna Hazare's movement against corruption and keeping this in mind, we are very confident that you will grant all our demand and do the needful on urgent basis.
