Are you tired of all the violence in our schools?

My name is Michelle; I live in Indianapolis, IN and en lieu of the Virginia Tech Tragedy I am asking for your support to propose that metal detectors be installed in ALL schools and that doors be locked to outsiders (there should be a buzz-in system).




The reason for the inclusion of elementary schools is because there have been several instances where 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders have brought guns to school. I have an 11 yr old son and as a mother it is hard watching the news every night when all you hear about is bomb threats and students bringing guns, knives and any other weapon they can get their hands on into the school. These days you can not be too careful or TOO SAFE! This is not a joke, it is becoming very scary to send our children to school everyday and not knowing if they will be safe or not! Please help me in this quest to keep todays children safe.
