We regret to inform you that on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006, Clear Channel Communications terminated TicTak the entire FreakShow. This is neither a joke nor a stunt, this is real and we're very sorry it happened. They (ClearChannel) decided that with the new year it was time for a new night show. This means the FreakShow is no longer with Channel955.
Over the last several years, we had the wonderful opportunity to be the entertainment for many of you listeners through the radio airwaves. During these years we've become more than just a voice behind the radio. We've gotten to know many of you on a personal basis. We've enjoyed great times together, also sad times together. We would like to extend a big thanks to all of you for sticking by our sides through our ups and downs, charities, suspension, etc. We would also like to thank all the great people who have been with us since the begining of the road and also the people that jumped on board during the fun ride. We're not exactly sure where the road will lead but we do know that our hearts and our fan base starts right here in Detroit.
In time, the Freakshow will be back, whether it be in another market, on sattellite, or possibly even back here in Detroit. Our myspace page will remain, as will our email [email protected] for those of you who wish to leave messages. We would like all of you guys to know that 2006 is the year of The Freakshow and I'm sure you'll be hearing from us very soon!
