Bradbury noise complaint

Several homeowners of The Bradbury Community in Durham, NC continue to experience unacceptable noise levels with Empire Distributors Inc.'s loading practices at 1757 T.W. Alexander Drive, Durham, NC 27703. There are repeated complaints logged with Durham police about excessive noise activity between the hours of 11 pm and 4 am. In lieu of the city ordinance, which requires light commercial firms to keep decibel levels between the hours of 11 pm and 8 am at or below 50 db, we demand that Empire Distributors adhere to this ordinance immediately. Furthermore, we require that The Keith Corporation, owners of the property leased to Empire Distributors Inc., the Durham City Police and the Durham City Planning and Zoning Department act immediately to enforce the noise ordinance.
