If selected as Metra CEO, Brian promises to:

1) Reduce late times by 20\% and compensate passengers for significantly late arrivals.

2) Overhaul Metra's ticketing system so that passengers will not have to wait in line with hundreds of dollars in cash every month to buy monthly passes. Instead, regular riders will receive a key card that conductors will scan and which automatically replenishes from their bank account, similar to I-Pass.

3) Provide wireless access on the trains so that passengers can make their commutes more productive.

4) Sell snacks and a variety of beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) on the train.

5) Improve conductor service by putting conductor complaint forms on every train and taking swift disciplinary action against conductors that are rude and do not make passengers' rides pleasant.

6) Find a solution to the awful mess when evening rush hour trains arrive in Union Station late and the platforms are stuffed with passengers trying to board while other passengers are trying to deboard.
