As it will go unmentioned within about five seconds into reading this, I, along with countless of other people, love the old Nickelodeon shows. Shows like "Clarissa Explains It All", "Hey Dude", "Salute Your Shorts", "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?", "Pete And Pete", Etc. For many of us, it was these very shows that fill our memories with what our childhood represented. These distant memories of coming home from school, running towards the television and tuning into the likes of that mean old Roger who would never leave poor Doug alone, or listening to Donkey Lips charming speech impediment, brought us joy to last a lifetime. We understand that some of these shows can be seen on Noggin or Nick GAS but it is not enough. Noggin only showed Pete and Pete minimally and the Nick GAS programs are the old game shows, which is wonderful but we would like to see the ones that weren't game shows back on the air. What "Nick At Nite" was to our parents, a new brand of programming could be contributed to our generation. Even if it's only one time a week, we would be greatly appreciative. Please afford us the shows that created our childhood memories and propelled Nickelodeon into what it is today.
