May of 2003 will mark the 20th anniversary of a legacy called V. Created by Kenneth Johnson for television, V began as a great mini-series that challenged audiences around the world to ask themselves how they might react in the face of fascism. V evolved into a second mini-series (1984) drawing in over 60 million viewers. Later that year it became a weekly television series. But due to lack of funding and a poor time slot, V The Series was cancelled and ended in a cliffhanger that was never resolved.
Today, there are over 70 websites devoted to V and numerous message boards as well. The fans of V want to see their beloved series resolved or continued. Most of all we want Warner Brothers to know that there is still a huge fan base for V, and a large enough audience to support its return.
