Bring Yoshinoya to Hampton Roads

This petition was born out of the frustration for what is seemingly a slight to the entire East Coast of the United States. We here have waited far too long to be given the opportunity to enjoy your food, as our counterparts on the West Coast have been able to do for some time now. Your corporation continues to grow on the west coast, adding locations in various cities with more advertised to come according to your webpage. What about us? Many of us have had your food in Japan or on the west coast and love not only the taste, but the idea that fast food can be wholesome. But when we return to this side of the U.S., we have no option unless we live in N.Y. So please consider this a collaboration of those left unserved by your company in the hopes of being remembered when the next location is planted. As you can see, a serious market is here and waiting. Domo origato gozaimasu!
TO ALL MY FELLOW UNSERVED- This is a nation of choice. And this petition is about a choice thats being kept from the residents of Hampton Roads; and whats more, from the majority of the East Coast. The choice Im talking about is Yoshinoya! The Japanese fast food restaurant that, in my opinion is the greatest fast food ever created. Instead of greasy, fat laden sodium saturated burgers and fries, or chicken parts that cant be identified; Yoshinoya serves fresh hot steamed rice bowls, topped with grilled or stir fried beef, chicken or seafood and vegetables, as well as several other delicious Japanese foods. All to go, and all in the same time it takes to get an unhealthy, diet destroying typical U.S. fast food meal. SO why isnt this delicious option here in the U.S.? A country where, in many cities, you can get food of ten different nations on one city block? You can! Yoshinoya America has put locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, and ONE in New York. Thats right friends, the ONE and ONLY Yoshinoya serving the entire East coast is in N.Y.
So what about the rest of us? What about the hundreds of thousands of military and veterans like myself, who have had this wonderful food overseas and are now back in the states missing such a delicious healthy option? What about the rest of the residents of Hampton roads that already support the regional and foreign cuisine available and would love another experience of global fare? If you have ever had this food and wish you could have it again, if youve never had this food before and would like to try something new, If you live a healthy lifestyle and would like to have a quick option that you can grab on the go and not be worried that you just wrecked your diet, whatever your case may be, THIS is the petition for you. Hampton Roads should not be forgotten. We are here and we deserve the same food choices as the rest of the country. Our area is thriving; diversifying more and more every year and a Yoshinoya will flourish in this area. But WE have to get it here. So please join the effort and lets have the choice to eat well, and fast!
