As dedicated players of Counter-Strike, the Undersigned of this petition contend that while CAL-I teams of Counter-Strike deserve much respect for their accomplishments, in the interest of a fair start to Season 1, and many future seasons of Counter-Strike, no team should have a first priority in the future CAL-I divison of CS:S, beginning early 2005.
Counter-Strike:Source, while an extension of Counter-Strike 1.6 and earlier versions, has significantly different gameplay aspects, which in turn, qualify it as a new game, and as such, demands a fresh start for all teams.
