We are a group of Irish Car Dealers who are extremely concerned with the decline in sales of both new and used cars. We are asking that Carzone.ie Support the Car Dealers of Ireland by reducing their monthly advertising fees to coincide with the collapse of new and second hand car sales in Ireland. Here are some statistics to back up our Claims. New Cars : The number of new cars registered in February 2009 fell 63.8 per cent as compared to the same month a year ago, according to new figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO). Overall, 8,795 new cars were licensed last month compared to 24,290 in February 2008.. Second Hand Cars : The value of cars on the second hand market has completely collapsed.
