Change Government Systems - We look after ourselves, why cant you look after us?

As a single mum with a mental illness, life gets hard enough. But over the last 10 years, centrelink have made it nothing but a nightmare. During my last episode which ran its course over 18 months I was forced to look for work after a job capacity assessment listed my illness as "temporary". Suffering huge amounts of anxiety i had to attend appointments as close to 2 weeks together throughout my ordeal. Now i have recovered and am back to working part time (about 12 hours a week) i am now having to attend further interviews etc with both centrelink and campbell page in regards to my work hours. It is expected that i work 15-22 hours a week and apparently my 12 hours as well as my 2 hours study wont cut it. I have jumped through all the hoops for the last 10 years, declared every cent of incom i have ever earnt and apparently Im a "grandfather" client of thiers. I cannot fathom how many centrelink clients are being pushed pillar to post through the system every day when we have done nothing wrong, in fact we are in the small group of people that have been doing everything right! Please sign this petition if the system is letting you down and make our government take a long hard look at how these systems are run!
