I hereby wish to permanently change the past tense of the word "quit" to "quat," as in... "I quat my job yesterday." The purposes of which are to help with the flow of conversation and inflection. By changing this tense, not only would sentences transition more easily, foreign-tongue speakers would also be able to distinguish tenses for this difficult word.
