The petition is for Bay Area City Governments to list the beeper or pager services, and cell phone services that cover the entire city and 2 miles the border area.
To make the list available for emergency persons, and medical facilities; where the company might call in the employee on a rotating basis as required by thier job.
Making finding the correct pager coverage or cell phone company a much lighter job, than paying termination service fees to waiting one year.
Cases where company supplied pagers-beepers or cellphones, means the employee gets to do house errands after thier office hours. Instead of waiting by the phone at home.
