We, the members of the Council Rock community hereby reject cinematic and literary censorship. We hold that teachers should have the ability to show films with ratings of R if such films aid the erudition of the students. Such films are a vital part of the learning experience and allows students to discuss and interact with adult subjects in a safe and controlled environment. These films enable educators to drive vital points across and serve to make students more intelligent and better informed people. Depriving educators the ability to show these films deprives society of its most vital resource: well informed people.

we have the right to watch these movies. by not signing this petition you are depriving kids of their education. if this petition isnt passed, students 17 and older in council rock school district are having their legal rights taken away from them.
