This petition is an initiative from several Daniel Radcliffe's fans and it concerns his next Australian film DECEMBER BOYS. This is a wonderful and charming story reminiscent of the famous movie Stand By Me. It's a coming-of-age film about family, first love and the search for self. This film has been filmed on Kangaroo Island in South Australia whose beauty of the landscapes is totally breathtaking. Maps, Spark, Spit and Misty are already in our hearts. DECEMBER BOYS is already an unforgettable story and a cult movie.
This petition is addressed to 'WARNER BROS Independant' leaders, the distributor of this film.
The objective is to prove that numerous persons are waiting for this film impatiently and want to see it worldwide with the promotion and the distribution that it deserves. Daniel Radcliffe performs Harry Potter, principal character of your biggest and the most profitable franchise which bring you back billions of dollars for 5 years now all around the world. We think that it's unfair and even an insult towards him not to respect his work and his choices outside Harry Potter. Its for this reason that we ask you not to abandon DECEMBER BOYS.
Our requests are simple:
We want a worldwide release of DECEMBER BOYS and a great and suitable distribution in each country to allow ALL the fans of Daniel Radcliffe and DECEMBER BOYS to have the chance to see this movie.
Then, it makes now more than one year that we're waiting for this movie and we had never been informed of its process, we had for the moment only little crumbs of bread for information! We have only one official picture! A clip thats less than 30 seconds! We would like regular information on this movie. So we wish a dignified promotion of DECEMBER BOYS. An official site will be graciously welcomed!
Then, we want to see the integral film, we want that the objectionable scenes were kept. Daniel Radcliffe's fans and even Harry Potter's fans are not only children, like you surely know! We want him to be a success for many years to come.
And finally we are not easily duped, we know that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is more important than DECEMBER BOYS but we don't want it to be in the shadow of Harry Potter and we hope that it will not interfere with the future of this wonderful and apart movie that you have the chance to distribute. So we would like to know NOW what will be the official release dates of DECEMBER BOYS to wait for it serenely!
We hope that you will understand our request and that you will finally realise the big potential of this independent movie, which has already a lot of fans. We want ardently to see it in our cinema soon!
