I would like to demand the prosecution of politicians past and present who have used their power to line their own pockets and misappropriated public finances. Whether it was by taking backhanders or diddling expenses or rezoning bogs and wasteland for construction. This culture of doing what they like at the expense of the Irish people has to stop. I would also demand that they be stripped of any assets they have gained through immoral earnings by CAB in the same way that any other criminal would. As a starting point I would like to see Bertia Ahern arrested and tried immediately very little investigation would be needed as the Mahon tribunal has already proved he is a crook.
