Demote nation of scum from continental status

As a concerned American, I have severe reservations as to Australia's status as a continent. They are nothing more than a large island. As it is a common knowledge that Australians are overly cocky by nature, I believe that it would be in the best interests of the world to have Australia's official status as a continent revoked. Australia is a country formed from the grime of society, and I believe its a true disservice to respectable nations who are FAR more deserving of continent status to allow this asknowledgement to stand.
