Having a brief review on processing times of immigration applications will result in understanding this sensible fact that in many cases the applications which have been lodged from some particular parts of the world like US and Europe are getting processed sooner than those of middle-eastern countries.
The main reason to such delays is stated to be some integrity checks which are undertaken by external agencies and DIAC has no influence over their completion times, while these external liaisons can be started as soon as a valid application is received to the department to save a lot of time.
Although it may not be true but apart from a discrimination image which the current running scenario is reflecting back, the applicant has no clear vision of what can happen to his/her case and in which stage he/she is. This will cause a terrible confusion on the applicant's normal life which may have direct impact on his/her performance even after arriving to Australia.
Australia is respected because of its being a modernized peaceful country these days, but this would bring higher expectations also higher level of life standards, higher level of justice and equality and many more. These would be the reasons for which an applicant selects a country to immigrate.
