Equal Rights for Fathers

Family courts are a mess. There is no justice for the family especially fathers. Divorce and custody hearings are very common today and Mostly everybody knows at least one person who has or will go through this if they haven't personally. Years ago this was uncommon and when this happened the fathers had alot of power( because of womans rights back then). then we realized the importance a mother had on her children. so we made laws to protect children from being harmed by being taked from thier mothers but we neglected to keep the fathers rights intact. Fathers are also very important in children lives. The court system does not even consider this or anything it seems except fathers are paychecks and the mothers get custody. I know this does not always happen like on the judges good day or if the mother is a real disgrace.the family court has our children lives in thier hands and they do not even consider this. makes you think twice about all the problems our youth is having today. There are so many children who grow without a regular father in there life. What I mean is thier natural father being involved in thier lives more than four times a month.There are some mothers who lack maternal instinct and are poor mothers. this is true of fathers too all people are different. I am a woman and I see first Hand what happens to children who are left in the care of poor mothers and that do not see thier natural fathers much. You may think this is rare but think about that child when the mother finds a new man/husband and they have children. Now keep in mind that I am talking about woman that are poor mothers. most mothers would not have any problem with this scenario. I am speaking of woman that are not family orientated I am not talking about working mothers although I am sure some fit into this catergory. I am talking about mothers who care more for boyfriends/husbands, or wants to go out all the time,or woman who having drinking and/or drug promblems etc. These woman EXPLOIT are children they are used like pawns in thier own game. and this is really hurting our kids.these woman want custody of thier children not out of love but the need for money would you willing give up a free paycheck? It seems that this is all woman want from the natural fathers of thier children. This is so wrong. it hurts this children in ways that cannot easliy be fixed in adulthood. But these problems could be fixed by a better evaluation of both parents and even if one parent does have poor parenting skills we must still include them in thier children lives if we want them to grow to be healthy happy adults. Children should be able to call thier non custodial parent without the other parent getting involved. A child out to be able to see his/her noncustodial parent more than four times a month. Family court judges need to be very careful in making custody decisions and we need to make them. the family court laws need to be amended we need to better evaluate this situations before making such critical decisions in peoples lives. please help any way you can atleast sign my petition.
