Fair Grade

We, the History 2112 section 1 class of Diana Honey of Kennesaw State University, are petitioning for a fair final or drop of the grade, against the unfair issuance of Test 4a on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 8:00AM. Based on hearsay, a person in the 9:30AM class allegedly stole one of the final tests on Monday. As a result, our entire class was punished with a test completely different from specific prepared path of the study guide given and deviated from the structure followed by previous tests. Consequently, many students received much lower grades than their trended scores, and have also dropped a letter grade for the class as a whole. Had we been informed of the change, the outcome may have been different; however, we were not informed until the time of the test. This is an unwarranted detriment to our GPAs and is endangering scholarships as well as other academic involvements. We ask that the department or professor hear our plea and take action to resolve the situation, either by dropping this grade, taking into consideration previous test scores, or issuance of the original test.
