We the undersigned insist that the FIA (Fйdйration Internationale de l'Automobile) maintains the decision made to add 25 seconds to the finishing time of Lewis Hamilton (McLaren-Mercedes) in the Formula 1 Belgium Grand-Prix (07th September 2008).
We believe that the decision that has been made was fair. Had Lewis Hamilton braked and taken the chicane correctly and nehind Kimi RAikkonen,, he would have lost time and would not be in the position to immediatelly overtake Kimi Raikkonen at the next corner. The punishment is therefore justified since Lewis Hamilton gained an unfair advantage.
This petition is to show that there is support to the decision by the FIA stewards and that we do not accept the pressure from the British press and fans to overturn the results. Felipe Massa should be the official winner of the Belgium Grand Prix.
