Ever go to the town basin playground with your children? What an amazing facility for all the children in this town. Now all the council need to do is put a fence around it! I have three children under four and would love to use this facility regularly but with the water to one side and a car park to the other, I can't relax for a minute especially when they run in different directions. The council are so particular about fencing pools and yet apparently it's 'fine' to build a playground within meters of the river and next to a car park.
Fencing this area would allow mums like me to enjoy the park and relax a little when their children are enjoying the whole area. Please sign this petition if you agree and maybe I can make a difference
