We as Final Fantasy XI players for the PC demand a graphics update. As all 3d models and textures are stored on our Hard drives, increasing the qualitiy of OUR graphics would NOT effect loading times or congestion, or gameplay at all for that matter, on the PS2, or even the recently planned XBOX360 release. It would simply be a file substitution in OUR directories. Many MMORPGs have surpassed FFXI's graphic qualities simply because they are PC (not cross-platform) based games. Why should we, the PC using consumers, have to suffer due to SONY's PS2 soon-to-be outdated and, by many standard gaming PCs, outclassed hardware capabilities.
The update could be easily distributed from the POL website (obviously only accessable from a PC). SE, give us our money's worth.
