Fight Euthanasia In Canada

We the undersigned express our dismay and alarm at the decision on June 15th, 2012 by Justice Lynn Smith overturning the ban on doctor-assisted suicide. We believe that the government MUST appeal this decision immediately, and MUST continue to appeal all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada. In fact, we go so far as to say that if the case should be lost in the Supreme Court, the government should consider using the "Not Withstanding" clause of the constitution to prevent this attack on the right to life. Make no mistake, the forces that have pushed for this decision will not be satisfied with this. They will continue to push until Canada becomes a country where the disabled and helpless will live in constant fear.
