Final Fantasy VII PC on Steam

This petition is to show that PC gamers desire Square Enix to re-release Final Fantasy VII on Steam.

Final Fantasy VII was released for PCs in 1998. It has been ported by Eidos,who are now owned by Square Enix, and was overall a good port. The only problem is that the game is not compatible with modern computers.

Square Enix recently signed up to Steam, a service run by Valve which distributes PC games online. Since signing up, they Square Enix has released 3 games.

What we ask is that Square Enix fix the current issues with Final Fantasy VII for PC and release it on Steam. The cost is minor, as much cost as making a patch, and the PC gaming community would appreciate it.
