Fire Sarah Mayberry

Since the Times-Delphic has repeatedly refused the calls of the Drake student body to fire Sarah Mayberry we have formed this petition in the hopes that our voices will be heard.





This petition is for liberals, moderates, and conservatives who strongly believe that Sarah Mayberry should be fired from the Times-Delphic. We implore the Times-Delphic to hire a conservative columnist at Drake that better represents the mainstream conservative perspective. In a country as divided as ours, we need now more than ever a conservative columnist that can better articulate a conservative vision that promotes unity, critical thinking, dialogue, and understanding, for the benefit of all. Dissenting opinions should always be heard as long as they are done in a respectful manner and are not based in hate or ignorance.





The Times-Delphic has a moral and political responsibility to hear our call. By maintaining the status quo, the Times-Delphic will be actively promoting a culture of animosity, fear, and ignorance, which is hurting both America and the Drake community.
