We have been trading on Winsford Town Market since Jul 2011, offering services to customers from many parts of the North West. When we atarted it was agreed with Cheshire West and Chester Council the items/services we were allowed to sell/carry out. After 2 weeks we were gven an additional licence to sell products hair extensions and hair pieces, we ought lots of stock and business started to take off. On the return of my Egyptian husband to the business we were subject to abuse from existing traders. The licence we had agreed on was adjusted without our knowledge (crossed out items in pen) the neighboring traders were allowed to sell the same products whch they did at ost prce trying to put us out of business. We only wanted to do our business, we had traders threatening us, our tyres slashed on the car. plus lots more comments on networking sites, false.fake profiles to slander our work, and more, accused of ssault which never happened and was proven in court, due to witnesses not turning up (as they weren't there at the time of alleged incident) and also the one that did including the accuser couldn't get their statementss correct. We battled through this unfortunately it cost us alot of money and loss of trade we have some very loyal customers and we appreciate all they have done to help us remain in business there.
This cause illness and we have had to close for a month, a sick noet was provided to the Manager yet they have closed our shop when we tried to return yesterday
We have been threatened, spat at, accused,treated differently from other traders
Other traders are allowed long holidays or off sick who are allowed to be off and come back with no problems and even helped to return. WHY?????? are we treated differently with euqality laws as they are.
Please help us to show Cheshire West and Chester Council that we should be back there and have suffered enough wwe feel we have been victimised and certainly had racial abuse just lacked the vido evidence which is not easy to obtain
