(i) I would like a complete review of the teaching of Company Law in 2014, including the quality of teaching, exam, marking and grade distribution.
(ii) I have no confidence in his ability to teach Equity in Semester 2, 2014 or any other course at the University of Auckland.
I have lodged a formal complaint with the Faculty of Law about Gordon's teaching but have not had an adequate response. They have known about Gordon's unprofessional teaching for over a decade and have done nothing to manage his teaching. As a result, last semester a number of Company law students had a very difficult time in his class, struggling to understand him and feeling like he was not interested in their learning. He turned around work after the required deadline with no proper feedback or guidance to the class. In response the faculty promised that Gordon would address these problems and monitor his teaching, they failed to do so. Please sign this petition to change this.
