'GROFGESKUD' TV show - Metal Television in Africa

The African continent, South Africa in specific, has always lagged behind the rest of the world when it comes to heavy music. We have one or perhaps two radio DJ's countrywide that promote new metal bands and praise the classic ones. This could be the reason for every metal band in the world's lack of sales and touring success in the country of South Africa.

However, there are legions and legions of devout metal fanatics in the country, silenced and without a voice. 'GROFGESKUD' is a new TV Show that plans on becoming the first TV show that promotes metal to the South African audience and creates awareness about this genre to the multitudes that crave it so. This will be done via interviews, reviews, the on-air playing of promotional videos and discussion of new moves in the metal world both locally and abroad. We will give fans an opportunity to have their say and grow metal in every aspect of its being - hopefully in the long term making it more financially lucrative for bands to tour the country and release their albums here.
